If you need help making a fighting scene for your series, it WOULD be nice if you give a better scrolling effect. For example, what about you make a giant graphic, draw whatever the background should look like, and just move it around, (frame by frame works very well) or I think there's a V-Cam? I think so.
And maybe you could add a bounce to things, also works best frame by frame. And it would be AWESOME if you could make your OWN sprites.
Your animation is good, but Mario isn't EVERYTHING, man, try and make something else, like stick animating.
I did stick animating..
